Too many tags.

Problem:

Sometimes users complain about having too many tags when importing Word doc into Wordbee platform.

Explanation:

Such behaviour is very often caused by the fact that the Word doc is coming from OCR processing where a lot of noise and formatting issues occur.

Solution:

Go to settings page by clicking "Settings"

On "Settings" page click "Microsoft Word" in the "Document Formats" section.

Then select the filter you are going to use to process your problematic file:

Once you are in the settings of your specific filter go to the tab "Reduce markup" and tick the option "OCR (Optical Character Recognition) noise reduction. Applies heuristics to remove typical superfluous formatting in OCR results."
