CSV - Corrupt characters in generated export when opened in MS Excel

Problem:

Issue with CSV:

even when "UTF8" is the set encoding in the filter and in the editor option, special characters (i.e non-english characters) appear corrupted in the generated target CSV when opened in Excel.

Solution:

It is an Excel issue not Wordbee.

Quick workaround:

- Generate the CSV export
- Open the CSV in a text editor
- Save the file in Notepad choosing UTF - 8 as encoding
- Open the file in Excel -> now it displays properly
