Codyt Project Memory
Hi,
I was wondering if there is "Pre-translate from earlier document version" in Codyt project. I need to specify the memory or the document to pre-translate the new version of a file which can speed up the translation.
Best regards,

Hi Jessica,
it is also possible in CodyT projects.
In order to upload new version of the file and have it pre-translated from the previous file you need to:
1. Go to Documents tab in your project
2. Right click the document you would like to update with a new version and click Manage document
3. Once you click this pop-up window will show where you will have an option to upload new version of your document.
Let me know if that is what you expected to achieve. All the best

Dear Wojciech,
Thanks for your reply. I understand how to do it now. Is it possible to export the contents in project TM of a codyt project by file name or revised time? I can't find this option as it is in a standard project.
Best regards,
Jessica Liu

I find the only way for me to do sth similar is to copy the project TM to a master TM and then select the file I need to export. Then export the master TM.

But this is not very convenient. I have to clear the content in the master TM in order to have a clean copy of the part of TM in one file.

Try those two options (screenshot below) an let me know if they work for you. I am a bit lost now, not sure what is your goal now.

Sorry I made you confused. I have a codyt project. I need to export the project memory of three files one by one so that I will get three seperate TMs for the files to resue in the future. The reason that I don't just export the entire project TM of the codyt project is there are quite a lot noises (wrong translation) in the project TM.

Hello,
in this case try to follow this:
1. Click Resources in your project
2. Once you are in Resources view click View contents
3. Click Export
4. In the second step of pop-up window select the document/job in the Filter job/document section

Got it. Thank you Wojciech.
