QA check for terms
Problem:
The profile of my QA check for terms looks like this:

But I find that the wrong translation of terms cannot be found.
Solution:
the term should exactly be the same (100%) in the terminology database as it is in the source segment. Also note that the system is case sensitive so if the word is capitalized in the source segment and not in the terminology database, the system is not going to check if the translator used the right translation or not.

Thank you Wojciech for sharing this!
Should it set "Penalty for text differences (wording, spelling)" as "Lowest"?

Thanks Wojciech,
I truly believe we need to have non case sensitive term lookup both during translation and during QA, because it would be extremely time consuming if we had to add all case variations of a term in the termbase just so we can check it.
It should identify the terms even if the case is different, so for example say we have this term stored as capitalised:
English German
Industrial Glue = IndustriekleberBut the sentence contains industrial glue without the capitals, then this needs to be identified, but maybe as a lesser warning option.
Thanks,
Anthony.

Hi!
Has this been changed, or are the terminology databases still case sensitive?
Kind regards,
Erin
