Search language goes back to default

We got several reports from translators stating that the new editor does not remember settings for language direction for searches; defaults to "en" each time.

This "defaults to en" occurs when we translate from Japanese to English.

Also when we click in the Japanese (source) column as shown below in "from Japanese into English" translation, the language direction in the Translation Finder changes to Japanese to Japanese, so we need to manually change the direction back to Japanese to English to make the search work.

Could you please take a look?
