Filter does not work

Dear development team,
The filter feature in the new editor does not work correctly. I have added 2 comments and 2 blue bookmarks to a translation. But when I want to filter the segments with bookmarks or comments, the results say that there are no segments with blue bookmarks. Also when I filter on comments it says that there are no comments.
But I can still see the bookmarks and the comments in the two segments.

Hi Inge,
I see that you have selected Dutch (nl) next to the filter box. Please select the target language and run the filter again. I suppose the bookmark is on the target and the comments too.

Hi Stephan,
Thank you for your advice. I tried and now it does work. To me it is not logical that I first have to select the target language for the status, bookmark and comment filter to work. I would prefer this to be language indepentend.

I believe the filter is preset with the target language in the beginning. We might think of adding a "Any language" option there.

Yes for multi-language projects that would be an interesting addition. But I think it would be easier for the users if they did not need to worry about selecting a language or selecting 'any language' in not multilanguage projects (just 1 source and 1 target language) if they want to filter on bookmarks, statusses or comments.

Not sure if it is best to start a new thread but is it possible to change the filter so that when you open it does not give "global filter" (with no where to input a search) but instead directly goes to the "custom filter"?
Also, where is the find/replace option?

The search bar is currently being redesigned to address various issues and suggestions from our users. We can't give an estimate as to when this will be available, but we're working hard on getting this delivered before the deprecation of the old editor. We're focusing on making it as streamlined as possible, while still offering the advanced filters our users expect.
The find and replace is located in the main actions menu, right here :
Please take not that we're also greatly improving the find and replace tool, and these improvements will be ready in the upcoming weeks.
