Hello,

Does Wordbee Translator support Adobe Illustrator files? If not, is there a workaround that we could use?

  Good morning Dave.
  Hope you are fine, thanks for the question.
  Changing the extension from AI to SVG is not the way.
  You need to save the file as SVG:
  https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/how-to/export-svg.html

  Hi Carole,

   

  thank you for this post.

  We are working on an option to enable Wordbee users to process SVG files.

  It is possible to save AI files as SVG files and once SVG files support will be ready then it will be possible to handle them.

  If your need is really urgent you can try to rename such SVG file to XML and look for settings in XML to process such an XML but as far as I know exisiting XML parser is having issues with XML files coming from SVG.

  I will update you once proper support for SVG files is implemented but can promise any timeline.

  Good news is that SVG files were added to Wordbee platform as natively supported.

  So, you do not have to rename your file anymore.

  Hi Wojciech,

  Just following up on the original thread here. I am looking for a way to extract content from Adobe Illustrator (.ai) files.

  When changing the file-extension from .ai to .svg the extraction does not work ("Operation failed").

  Is there a solution for .ai-files?
