Unable to split/join segments

 Today, when I tried to split a segment,I got the following error.

I unlocked the segment before this and I do not know how to unlock the source segment. Could you please help me?

  Good afternoon Sachiyo,

   

  Following my previous message in the ticket "How to edit source text?" in the community forum, saving a segment with empty mandatory fields has been reworked. After our next deployment, you should not encounter this problem anymore, and be able to unlock your segment.

  Hi Demizu,

  This error appears only if you have a translation locked, maybe it is not a language visible in your interface configuration.
  For example, if you displayed the languages "French" and "Spanish" but the "Japan" is lock and not visible in your columns layout.

  Thanks for your advice. Yes, it it true. This error appears when the Japanese source text is locked.

  This is a Japanese to English translation project. There is no other hidden languages. I unlocked English (target language) but I was unable to unlock Japanese. When I tried that by "Edit segments", I got another error saying something like, please fill out all mandatory fields.

  Could you please help me?
