    Hi Christian,

1st thing - I think you mean RTL (Right-to-Left), not RTF...

And yes, I'm using Wordbee with RTL languages (Arabic and Hebrew), and it's support is quite good.

    • In the editor: good support, although if there are tags in the string things can get a little complex (cursor jumps around). Nothing critical. I wish there was integration with the MS Word spell-checker, because Hunspell sucks.
    • Word files - produced files are as good as SDL Studio. Did not notice any directional problems. If I remember correctly the page layout remains LTR, but paragraphs are mirrored correctly, and text flow is correct.
    • InDesign - the translation process requires exporting the INDDs to IDML, translating the IDML and then opening the IDML back in InDesign and mirroring the layout. No problems there - you have to do the mirroring yourself, but that how InDesign works, not a fault with Wordbee.

To sum up - feel safe to use Wordbee for RTL languages. For that purpose, it's as-good as the other translation tools out there.

    HTH,

    Leon

Yes, that is what I meant RTL! I corrected it...

Thank you for your feedback, very much appreciated. However, yoiu said that you have to convert INDD to IDML but I thought Wordbee was compatible with INDD files and you didn't have to convert them? Am I wrong?
