document-level communication thread
We have a need for a document-level communication thread in which the client requestor (order placer), client reviewer, linguists, and project management team are notified.
Is it possible to use the Message thread attached to the review job for a document? We assume that won't notify the linguist since the linguist isn't assigned to the job.
What about a document-specific (not segment-specific) comment? Is it possible for all users assigned to that document (or the project that hosts the document) to be notified of new comments?

Hi Jeff,
It is already possible to attach comments to the document using the translation interface "Comments & Discussion" panel.
There is also the envelope icon which permits to send email notifications.
The requirement is to include the client in the workflow so he can access the translation interface.
Best Regards,

Thanks for your response! Can you please email me a screenshot of the envelope icon that you’re referring to? We can’t find it in the TUI editor.
If we use the document-level comment, will the order placer, who is not assigned to any job, get the comment for visibility?
We're afraid that turning on the Notify Jobs/Company will show all comments for all jobs, even those on order that she did not place. Moreover, this will show all comments for non-relevant jobs (the client and the reviewer do not need to see comments related to TR + ED, for example, just Review and Review Validation).

Hello,
Regarding this topic we would like to know if it would be possible for the Project Managers to have a setting to get notifications of the comments provided in the thread. Sometimes the linguists forget to click on the envelope and if we want to be aware of everything we need to check all the projects regularly in order not to miss any of them.
This would be specially important to get the queries of the linguists working in a different time zone out of our working hours.
Thank you!
