Terminology Management - Alternate and forbidden terms

I'm wondering if anyone could share their experience with terminology management in Wordbee. We have two main questions, but any other hacks and tips are more than welcome :)
1) How do you handle alternate translations to a term? We tried adding those as custom fields, but since they are not immediately visible for translators, we might need another solution;
2) How do you handle forbidden terms? I know there is the possibility to add labels, but are there any other solutions? It would be also great if there are consequences if translators use those anyway - adding something to the advanced QA check maybe?

Thank you for creating this post. We have similar problems and wondering what would be the best solution for us.
1) Alternate Translations
I wish WB would add a feature to handle synonyms.
We are constantly debating whether we should create a separate entry using the same source term and put the alternate translation in the target language field (with explanation in remark field (one of our custom field) or put the alternate translation in another custom field. Either way, we have the same issue of those fields not immediately visible in the Translation Finder.
Actually, I believe, we can make custom field visible in the translation finder hit (as long as that field contains a value) with the following setting but that solution is not gaining our translators consensus either.
2) Forbidden terms:
Same issue as above. We use a custom field called Term status, so we can add Forbidden term to the status (and make the field visible). We also consider the use of label, different status, or bookmark, but could not gain consensus. The biggest objection we got was that we should not enter wrong (forbidden terms) in our "official" term list regardless of the status.
Our solution? Add those terms in the Advanced QA check forbidden term list. This method works as long as everybody runs the Advanced QA check, but this list only shows you the forbidden terms in the target language and there is no link to the source language term. So it does not work when certain terms are "forbidden" in a certain context or as a translation of a certain terms but "allowed" in a different context.

I was wondering if you used QA check for forbidden term list in Japanese as the target language?
