    Dear Tamara,

I'm afraid that this won't be possible. When we export contents from the translation editor we also have to make sure that the content that comes back is compatible with Wordbee. Every CAT tool has a different way to express markup. If we simply made our exports bold or italic the other CAT tools would convert this to their markup system. If you then try to reimport the translation back into Wordbee our system would be unable to read it or we may mess up the formatting of the target file. This is why we need to use the code and enforce the (for us) correct import into the other CAT tools. In this way we make sure we can reuse the text when it comes back.

Furthermore, the markup doesn't necessarily need to be connected to formatting but could also be escaped text or code. In this case we still would have to go back to the tag representation.

In order to avoid these issues, it is recommended to use the xliff exports whenever possible.

If you have any other questions, please let me know!
    Cheers,
    Maik
