Source Consistency Check Capitalization False Positive
BeantwortetHello everyone,
I wanted to ask if there were some settings I could change to avoid getting false positives based on capitalization? For example, the same target, different source check flags the following:
Source: Note - Target: Hinweis
Source: NOTE - Target: HINWEIS
As having the same target, but different source. I am also including sample screenshots.

Please let me know if there are any settings that can be changed to prevent this from being flagged, thank you!
Kind regards,
Stefan

Dear Stefan,
Additionally to turning on or off certain rules you can use the QA Profile Manager to fine-tune settings for each rule.
1. Go to QA Checks > Run QA/View QA Results.

2. Then go to the QA Profile Manager by clicking on the cogwheel.

3. In the QA category "Translations - Same for different source" you can enable and disable case sensitivity.

4. Save the profile and run it.
In case you don't have the rights to do this please contact your administrators. They can change QA profiles under Settings > QA Profiles or as described above in the editor.
I hope this small guide helps. If you have any questions, please let me know.
Cheers,
Maik

Hi Maik,
Thank you for the info! Sorry that I didn't reply sooner. I just wanted to follow-up to let you know that I have turned on the ignore case option, but sometimes I get the following. In the screenshot, the false positive is still there, but the segment numbers are omitted. Would you happen to know how to fix this issue?

Thank you!
Stefan
