    Stephan,

Thanks a lot for launching this !

I read the instructions but still cannot be sure.

Is there a way to have users test the beta version before the release of the final version?

Here is the setup I have

I created a project but in order to see the new Editor page, I need to login as an Admin and when I login as a user, I do not see the activation panel. I opened the project I just created as an Admin and when I open the new project the old Editor page was displayed.

Yes. The users can choose to enable or not the new editor if the administrator has set option "let users choose".

For more details you can read the this documentation : http://documents.wordbee.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=4688228

    Kind regards,

    Thanks a lot!

I've  just noticed that the feature was activated for our clients as well.

Do they need this feature as well?

If so, we need to send a global announcement to avoid confusion among clients.

It is your choice if you want to roll out the BETA to users already at an early stage.

Our recommendation is to keep it closed for administrators. The purpose of the beta is to let you discover the new editor.

But if you already feel comfortable :-)  to allow your users to opt-in, you should indeed inform them, e.g. to tell them not to use the beta for real work. You or users can always opt-out and toggle between old and new editor.

Although we are pretty confident that the new editor is stable already, it is still a beta.

Thanks for your advice. It is my understanding that we can use only one Admin login. We have way too many translators/managers who want to test the beta version. I will let the users know that this is still a beta.

BTW, where and how I should I post/report questions and problems?

For example, one user reported a problem in translation finder. This could be language specific or could be a setting issue but the information I can provide on the public forum is limited. Another question I got was how to use the filter function in the New Editor, which I did not have time to go through the documentation...

Posting in this forum has the advantage that information is shared with other users.

We are looking forward to this!

    Stephan,

Thanks for creating the New Translation Editor section. I will post my questions and feedback there.
