Possible to see IP addresses of workers

Hi there,

We use Google Adwords campaigns to guide potential customers to our website using certain keywords. We'd like to put our translators on a whitelist, so they don't get to see our ads. This is because every time someone clicks on our ad, it costs us a small fee, and we wouldn't want translators looking for for instance our phone-number, to Google us this way and have it cost us money.

 

Does Wordbee record users' IP addresses, and are these visible to us somewhere?

  I would like to keep track of all IPs that access Wordbee. This is for security tracking and to fight scams that are very rampant in our industry right now. Having the IP address, we can identify the location of the person that logs in and fight scammers that mascaraed as in-country translators while using machine translation in dubious parts of the world. 

  Wordbee gives the activity log of all that login with the names of the users that login, time, user types and the duration of the system access. 

  We would like you to add the IP address as well.

  Hi Ben,

  We log user IP addresses as part of the security layer. However these details are not accessible from outside the system.

  I do not know where you are showing the ads today but you can customize the home page individually per user profile (clients, translators, ...) and show a text/buttons in a dedicated pane for specific profiles only.

  This is done from Settings > Access Rights > {Profile}

  Dear Stephan,

  thanks for the answer. The ads aren't being shown in the Wordbee environment itself (I didn't even know this was a possibility!), but they pop-up in search results in Google.

  What we're seeing right now is that translators google our company name in order to get our telephone number while translating, in order to ask us questions. However, every time they click on these ads to get to our website, it costs us money.

  If we had their IP address we could put them on an Adwords exclusion list, so these addresses never get to see our ads. I was hoping Wordbee had this list for us, as the alternative would be e-mailing every translator and asking them for this info. Thanks for the quick feedback though!
