Hi,
Is it possible to automatically assign a job to one person and not go through the groups? As far as I can see, automatic assignment is only possible with groups or the automation is completely impossible.

Unless the person you want to automatically assign it to is not the client, the only way to currently automatically assign the job to a dedicated person is a supplier group.
You could make use of dynamic supplier groups instead if there is always just one supplier matching your criteria defined within this group, e.g. product code x and rating 3 from the services the supplier offers.I hope this helps.

To explain the reason why I am asking: We also use Supplier Groups for assigning a group of internal PMs and we would like to omit the action of accepting the jobs in Validation stages for example. I thought one way to do that was directly assigning one internal user that does not need to accept a job before performing other actions. This would save us quite some clicks.
Other than that, there could be a user profile that allows to change status without prior accepting jobs.
