Automated e-mails not going out

All e-mail notifications from the past several hours seemed to be queued but not sent, as shown under Activity-Email Notifications. Is this a known issue?

  Yes, we notice the same problem as well. We are not receiving the email notifications in our email inbox but I can see that they have not been sent in the Activity - Email Notifications.
