Self-explanatory linking Wordbee Translator to the most popular cloud services would give flexibility to clients and suppliers and would help people and companies create a more coherent work environment linking files, contacts, communication, emails together with Wordbee.

If this idea is implemented, I would also suggest adding "owncloud" (http://owncloud.org/) to the list of compatible cloud services.
Agree with you Gareth. Owncloud, personal server security and TMS tool in one would assure a nice working secure environment and fast processing of data.
Why would that be necessary? You already have secured space on Wordbee servers. Why would you encourage your customers to use other services? Would that not cause confusion on where exactly your files are? Maybe Stefan if you could detail a scenario where an integration of those services to Wordbee are of clear advantage then I may be with you. Thank you.

When one logs in to Wordbee and go to Documents tab in a project one won't really see files in WB server and DB. One would only see the files in a folder view and would operate with the files like they would in a windows explorer. Good thing about having DB (or other cloud) linked to WB would be that easily could access rights be manipulated and give access to folders, send share links for download, sync files locally and only those needed when you are to travel. Additional advantage for us is the fact that clients are not interested in working in WB. They are interested in sending and receiving files like most of average users. In our industry we operate with files mostly and the number one ease is to be able to move, share, structure these files and yet have them structured similarly on a cloud with remote access and local selective sync.
I am bit tired to put it in step-by-step scenario but here is how it could work:
Client sends us 1500 XML files every 3rd day. Most convenient way to transfer such amount of files is via a cloud sync protocol which syncs individual files on both sides simultaneously. Imagine you have to upload 1500 XML files or single 1GB zip file and then the other side would need to get these. This itself will take half day, while we have 48h to deliver these. So, the client uploads the files in DB and they get synced on both sides. If these files are already on the space dedicated to this client on DB, then when starting a project and selecting the files would take seconds to move these files to the actual project's folder and give access rights to the contact persons (client and PM) assigned to this project. Then analyse the files in WB, get them translated, meanwhile moved around folders to assigned users with access rights and have all these files always in a perfectly easy to access folder structure through your Windows Explorer (or Finder). Finalised files are moved to the client deliverable folder and client can retrieve them any time.
I see now. For the moment we don't have such requirement but I am with you anyway considering also the fact that you put extra effort to explain it to me. Thank you ;-)
Update from SS: It just occurred to me... We've been using symlinks for some time now and I now realised that this is a fairly easy PHP way to create link to files and put on a cloud to sync-share. With a little more work on developing a dedicated space for every vendor and then creating a folder per project, symlink might help create an environment for integrating cloud with WB.

We totally agree that such a solution would simplfy transfer of large amounts of data as described by Stefan.
We will soon launch a solution for these scenarios where you can exchange data through cloud sharing services like Dropbox.

I am sorry to see that this is still something that is really not working properly with WBT 4 years later. What you call solution is actually asking for using yet another medium that complicates the work with file exchange on an extra cost. Negative I am because, this is certainly important because we all with files and folders and this is still quite a pain on the verge of 2018.
