I would like WB to develop an integration with a 3rd party QA checker such as QA Distiller, as QA Distiller does a good job checking Japanese to English translations. Is this possible? This would work like an add-on to Firefox.

Stephan Böhmig Hi Mike,
We do not propose out-of-the box integrations with QA Distiller.
In Q2 to Q3 2016 we will release a new quality assurance component in Wordbee that permits connecting third party checkers by means of a scripting language. If you are a developer it is easy to do or otherwise you may call upon us then.
You also have the option to export segments to Word (from the translation editor) and then push into QA Distiller for checking.
Finally, maybe not the easiest, is to use the API to extract segments into XML or JSON, do the checking and then push back errors into Wordbee (again using the API). This requires development work and learning the API.
Kind regards,
Stephan

Mike Holland Hi Stephan,
Thanks for your response. Could you let us know when this functionality is ready and give us as much information on it as possible?
Best,
Mike

Stephan Böhmig Hi Mike,
It will be available early Q3. If the scripting language will allow integration with QA Distiller will of course depend on the type of API this product exposes. You might want to send them a message and see whether they are interested in this to start with. Next we can talk to them.
Regards,
Stephan
