Is there anyway to indicate that the first column of a Microsoft Word table (i.e., Context = X, 1) is not translatable?

  Hi Jeff,

  Unfortunately we do not propose such a feature. To exclude content you could use Word styles or colors. In the Word configuration under "Settings" > "Microsoft Word" you can have the system exclude text formatted with a specific style or in a specific color.

  As you describe the use of the context field could serve the purpose. If we would extract the row / column information to the context field you could indeed use the filtering feature in the editor to "lock" all column 1 segments. We will keep this in mind for the new translation editor we are working on.
