Does anyone know what is this option for? I tried to untick this and couldn't find any difference.

With this option, you can change the hit presentation in the translation finder. You can choose to display in first the source text or the translated text.
You can to manage this options from the translation finder settings panel
NB: We think that this options description is not really clear for a user, we will update it :)
