In the old editor, regardless of what filter I had applied, when I typed in a segment number in the Find/Replace field, and hit Enter on the keyboard, the editor jumped to the segment. In the new editor, it does not (perhaps it happens so slowly I don't wait for it?). Is there any way you can make the jump to segment, jump--and jump fast?

Indeed, the way the "jump to segment" works in the new editor is a bit different from the old one. If you apply a filter and jump to a segment that doesn't exist in your current filter, it won't do anything. You can only jump to a segment that is present in your current filter. If you wish to jump to a segment not present in your current filter, you should first clear the filter before doing a jump to segment.
However, we can agree that an error message should be displayed in this situation. We'll work on including this soon.
As for your other inquiry, the browser we best recommend for using the editor is Google Chrome. Do note that we're continuously working on improving the general performance in the new editor to make it as fast as possible for everyone.

To what issue are you referring to exactly from this thread ? The fact that the jump to segment feature won't work in certain circumstances when a filter is applied has been explained in my previous message. We're still planning on including an error message when the jump to segment feature can't find the segment number in the current filter.

Would there be any way to include a switch in the general settings that would enable you to toggle the behavior of the search (use current new editor search behavior or use old editor search behavior [jump to segment even if it is not in the filtered results, and clear current filter])?
