I can't type the right apostrophies and quotes in Wordbee anymore
AnsweredSince I updated my Browser (Firefox) I can't type french apostrophies and quotes ( ’ and «») from my keyboard (AZERTY or QWERTZ) anymore. I tried with Chrome, it doesn't work either. I don't have this problem with other applications.
I want to type them directly from my keyboard, as shortcuts and special characters take too much time.
Should I change any parameters in Wordbee? Which ones?

Hello Geneviève,
You should be able to configure your AutoCorrect settings from the Smart Assistant settings down here :
This will open a configuration panel where you can set if apostrophes and quotes should be auto replaced with other characters :
Make sure that the correct locale is selected.
I hope that this helps. Have a nice day.
Kind regards,
Alex

Hi Geneviève,
That looks really convenient! does it work for you? I use <CTRL>+<SHIFT>+<P> to get the Special Characters selection window. I find it is pretty fast, but if the AutoCorrect function works well, that would be even better.

I've now had the time to try the autocorrect method: It is really good and fast.
