How to prevent error message for "etc."?

Hi,

The spellchecker doesn't recognise "etc."

I've tried adding it to the spellcheck dictionary, but when I do it removes the period after saving:

 

What can I do to avoid error messages for "etc."?

  Hello Erin, 

  We are sorry, but Wordbee does not support punctuation in dictionary entries.

  However, there's still a way you can help prevent forgetting the punctuation using the AutoCorrect feature:

  

  This will open the configuration window for the locale of your selected cell. We suggest you add your term like this:

  

  This configuration will always replace "etc" by "etc." if you ever forget to type the period after the word while you're typing your translations in the selected language.
