Find (or filter for) all segments containing a specific wb tag?
Hi,
Is it possible to search or filter for Wordbee tags/markup?
Consider this scenario:
I am revising a document that contains several nbsp tags, and notice that the translator has added a space before and/or after each tag.
The spaces are not necessary, so I want to remove them using the Find and Replace feature (possibly in regex mode).
Is this possible?
If so, what would I need to put in the Find field to capture the nbsp tags?
Similarly, if I wanted to apply a filter to show only those segments containing a specific tag, how would I go about doing this?
Thanks in advance,
Gareth

Hello Gareth,
Doing well, thanks, hope you too.
Thanks for following up on this.
It seems like that nowadays workload is high and the feature you propose did not get any votes from other users hence there is no real hope to get it implemented in the near future.
If you need this feature very much I suggest you to contact your account manager.

Good morning Gareth,
thanks for posting the question.
It is actually good idea to have as it is not available right now.
I will bring developers attention to it.
Have a blessed day.

Hello Gareth and Jessica,
Thank you for voicing your interest in this feature. The Wordbee development team is currently reworking the entirety of the editor's search bar, so this is a good opportunity for us to consider this improvement.
After a very brief analysis, it seems that this new feature integration should be possible to implement with our current changes made so far. We're still considering all the implications, and we'll keep you informed through this thread as we make progress on this project.
Of course, if more users show interest in this feature, then it will weigh heavily in favor of getting this integrated before this new search bar is ready for release.
Thanks for your messages, and have a nice day.
Kind regards,
Alex

Hi Wojciech and Alexandre,
Thank you both for following up on this.
It's good to know that the development team is reworking the entire editor search bar.
One of my main gripes with the new editor is the filter feature, which sometimes returns illogical results. For instance, when I try to filter for segments that Wordbee has flagged as containing QA errors, the filter returns all of the segments in the document, not just those with QA errors.
Another point that the development team might want to consider is an option to filter for locked/unlocked segments.
Looking forward to the update.
All the best,

Good morning Gareth.
Hope April including Easter in particular went fine for you.:-)
Thanks for following up here.
One important thing when using the filter is to check if the correct language is selected while selecting other options for filter.
This is however just a side note and we would appreciate if you could send us an example where the filter does not work as expected.
For locked/unlocked segments there is indeed no such filter right, thanks for the suggestion.
Let me know if I should create a ticket for this purpose, please.
All the best
Wojciech
