I see cases where the new editor search results don't find a match, but the WB search function (aka: Find a translation) does. Any plan to make the new editor search function at least as good as the WB search function? If not, why?
Thanks,
Mike

Good afternoon Mike,
hope you are fine.
Could you please go to All Options in Editor
and make this settting lower in order to make entries show in the Translation Finder
Let me know, please, if it helped.
All the best
Wojciech
Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
Thanks,
Mike
Hello Mike,
The WB Search function is a global functionality, and will include results from all your translation memories, project memories, etc.
The translation finder in the editor on the other hand will only include results from memories attached to your project.
This distinction is in place to prevent some unrelated memories from bloating the translation finder results, and more often than not make sure that the matches are more accurate. However, you should make sure that all relevant memories are attached to your project.
Do realise that you can still get the glocal search results without leaving the editor interface by clicking this button, as long as the appropriate access right is checked by your administrator :
These results will be the same as the ones from the "find a translation" interface you're mentioning.
I hope that this helps.
Kind regards,
Alex
