I have found that the new editor has less functionalities than the old one. For example, I don´t see where I can split or merge segments.
Also my freelance translators have been unable to work on HTML files within the new editor, receiving error messages and frozen screens. When switching back to the old editor, all is fine.

We're sorry to hear that the editor doesn't seem to meet your expectations. However, the functionalities should exist. For instance, split and join segments is possible right here :
If you have any other examples of missing features, then please let us know and we'll look into it.
As for the errors your freelance translator is experiencing, could they possibly open a support ticket so that they can provide additional information and we can resolve the issue?

Joining segments only works for subsegments joining to segment. This function needs to be improved so any two or more contiguous segments can be joined. Not sure about splitting.

Thanks a lot for your improvement propositions. For the moment the splitting and joining process is only for the same segment or for the same sub-segment like in the old editor.
