    Dear Dorine,

Thanks for your suggestion. There are several screens that we could consider a QA window. Could you please provide me with a screenshot here so we make sure both of us are talking about the same window?

    Cheers,
    Maik

    Dear Maik,

Thank you for your response! Here's a screenshot, I hope it suffices. If not, do let me know.

    Kind regards,

    Dear Dorine,

Thanks for your swift reply! Could you please explain a bit more how this window is impairing your work? The component was designed in order to configure the QA profiles and choose the ones you'd like to run with some additional options. So when a user does this we didn't foresee that any actions on the translation cells are necessary. So could you share your insights with us on what kind of interactions you have with the translation cells while this window is open?

    Cheers,
    Maik

    Hi Maik,

Apologies, I forgot to click on to the final QA window, now shown below. When going through this list of errors, I always drag it to the right-hand side of my screen and make it narrower so that I can see the segments the errors pertain to. I know it only takes a few seconds for me to do this, but I still think it would be handy to make this the default programming setting, i.e., to make it automatically appear on the right-hand side of the screen, for a more efficient user experience.

    Cheers,

    Dorine

PS: I heard from one translator that he actually goes back and forth between the QA and the segments (i.e., closes and reruns the QA over and over) simply because he didn't know you could drag the window to the right.. I assume there are plenty of oldskool translators out there with the same problem..

    Dear Dorine,

Thanks again for your swift reply and the insights. We are currently trying to enhance the user experience regarding QA but the development project behind it is a bit more complex so it takes some time.

In the meantime, have you ever tried opening the results in the Issue Resolver? To do so simply select the corresponding option in the Quality Assurance panel.

If you now click run, the QA results are displayed in a dedicated QA window. You see the erroneous segments with the corresponding errors and can simply click to the next issue on the left hand side. Let me know what you think about it.

    Cheers,
    Maik
