Word counting for several languages

    Hello Inge,

You are right, during the word count, we reprocess the source language for each language couples and we don't reuse the previous results from one couple to another.

The reason for that is that the translation memories are involved in the wordcount and they can influence differently the wordcount for each language couple.

You can see that in the columns 100% pretranslated and matches, each translation memory can match differently on each language.

Does this answer your question ?

    Regards,
    Maxime

    Goodmorning Maxime,

thank you for your answer. I understand now why the word count is done for each language couple seperately.

    Regards,
    Inge

    Good morning everyone,

Please note that in the very bottom of the wordcount wizard, there's an option to launch wordcount for all project's languages in a row.
    Best regards,

    Hello Brahim,

I had the same question than Inge, but your explanation makes sense. Would it be possible though, to have a button or option that will run the re-count function in all language combinations? The word count displayed will vary depending on TM entries but the process should be able to re-count at the same time.

    Best,

    Marina
