Multilingual xliff (three target languages)
Dear Team,
From one of our clients, we have received an xliff file that contains text to be translated into three target languages. The client has added the text to the xliff three times. They did this in a block (containing the entire text, divided into segments) per target language.
Would it be at all possible to create a settings file for such a file? And if so, how?
Thank you for your reply.
Kind regards,
Kim

Hi Kim,
Unfortunately the XLIFF standard does not allow doing this.
What I think will work is if you split translations into separate <file> sections. Each <file> section specifies its own target language.
In that case, Wordbee should indeed extract multilingual content. Although, I must admit that I did not test this before I wrote this comment. Please try it out (well, if your client is ready to organize content this XLIFF compliant way). The best still is to keep XLIFF files bilingual.
Kind regards,
Stephan
