When does Wordbee save the changes made during a revision?

When does Wordbee save the changes made during revision in the target segments? If we make changes in a segment, do we have to manually set the status of that segment every time on “green”?

  Any changes will be saved upon user click on the “Save” button or automatically every 10 seconds. Changing the status into green while revising will be relevant for :

  -      Letting the team know about the validation progress.

  -      Correcting a translation that had a red status and which needed to be corrected, and then approved.

  -      Reusing this segment for other projects when source and target segments are similar. If similar source & target segments are found in a translation memory, terminology database or project memory, by default, they will not be searchable in the Translation Finder, unless you gave them a green status.

  We often see that changes are not saved automatically. This is very tricky, because revisers and translators think they have changed a segment, but in reality these changes often are not saved.

  We have noticed that many times the changes are not saved at all or that the automatical saving takes a lot of time.

  Can there be created a setting so that every change is automatically saved as soon as the user goes to another segment or closes the editor?

  Thanks for getting in touch with us.

  Autosaving normally occurs every ten seconds, and also every time you edit a segment and move on to the next one. To make sure you have the feature turned on, click on the Tools icon above the menu bar and make sure Autosave is checked.

  If you are still experiencing problems with the Autosave feature, please open a ticket so that we can look further into this for you.
