Smart assistant
AnsweredHi,
In French, two-sign punctuation require a space beforehand. (e.g. ? ! : ; )
Could your Smart Assistant become smarter and not point tit out as an error?

Hello Gregory.
It is actually possible for the smart assistant to ignore these errors. You need to configure your QA profiles and include exceptions for specific characters :
The smart assistant uses the configuration taken from the appropriate QA profile.
I hope that this helps.
Kind regards,
Alex

Hi Gregory,
You can access these options under "Run QA" :
If you have the appropriate access rights, you can access the profile manager by clicking on the settings icon :
I hope that this helps. Have a nice week-end.

And related to this:
Is there a way to flag an error whenever a space is missing before a two-sign punctuation mark? (as French typography requires it)

Hi Jonathan,
Unfortunately this feature is not available yet as a part of our current QA process. We need to implement it as a part of the formal QA process, and we'll be able to add it to the Smart Assistant afterwards.
We hope to have this ready in the upcoming months. Thank you for your patience.
Kind regards,
Alex.
